§ 22-212. Housing official.

The city manager is designated as the housing official. The housing official is designated as the investigating and enforcing authority pursuant to the provisions of this article. The housing official is authorized and directed to receive all complaints of a violation of this article; to gather all relevant information concerning such complaints; to conduct field investigations and inspections of real property; and to enter upon real property in the conduct of his or her official business pursuant to this article. The housing official shall be responsible for providing all notices to affected property owners required by this article, and to take such other action as is reasonably necessary to accomplish the purpose of this article.
