§ 22-246. Time extension.

  • In appropriate cases where the application of the requirements of this article in the allowance of the stated time for the performance of any action required under this article would appear to cause undue hardship on a property owner, the code enforcement board may permit one or more extensions of time, not to exceed 120 days, from the date of such decision of the code enforcement board. Applications for such additional time extensions shall be heard by the code enforcement board. Such requests for additional time extensions shall be filed with the housing official not less than 30 days prior to the expiration of the current time stated for such required action.
