§ 34-151. Code enforcement board.

  • The code enforcement board shall have jurisdiction to hear and decide cases involving alleged violations of this chapter. In the investigation and enforcement of this chapter, any authorized officer is directed and empowered to inspect land on which a nuisance or other prohibited conditions are suspected to exist; receive all complaints for violations of this chapter; and enter upon any real property in the conduct of official business pursuant to this chapter. The code enforcement board shall be responsible for providing all notices to affected property owners as required by this chapter, and to take such other action as is reasonably necessary to accomplish the purposes of this chapter.
