§ 58-9. Collection.

Collection shall be supervised by the city manager or his/her designated representative or agent. All solid waste and recovered materials accumulated in the city for collection, conveyance and disposal shall be under the supervision of the city manager or his/her designated agent, who shall have the authority to make regulations concerning the days or collections, type and location of waste containers and such other matters pertaining to the collection, conveyance and disposal as necessary or as may be required by contract approved by the city council within the provisions of this chapter and pursuant to F.S. § 403.706, "Local Government Solid Waste Responsibilities.
