§ 70-36. Commercial traffic; penalties.

  • (a)

    It shall be unlawful for any person on any street or highway within a residential district within the city to drive any truck, tractor-trailer or other type of commercial vehicle, except for the limited purpose of making a delivery on such street or highway, if such truck, tractor-trailer or other commercial vehicle is more than 33 feet in overall length, including the truck or cab, any trailer or other part of the vehicle.

    (b)

    This section shall not apply to Central Avenue.

    (c)

    Except as otherwise provided, any person who violates this section shall be subject to a fine of $500.00. The city may obtain injunctive relief to restrain or prohibit a violation of this article.
